Buying on Trade CFTA
Do I need an account to buy?
You can browse products and manufacturers without an account. To save products, use the cart or check out, create a free account or sign in.
How do I place an order?
Open a product, choose Add to cart, then go to your cart and check out. You'll see the order summary before you confirm.
How do I pay?
Orders are paid by EFT (bank transfer). The payment details are shown at checkout.
Can I ask a manufacturer for a quote or bulk pricing?
Yes. Open the manufacturer's page and choose Request quote, or use Contact manufacturer to ask a question directly.
How do I find someone to ship my order?
Browse the logistics providers directory for freight, warehousing and customs partners across Africa.
Selling and logistics
How do I list my products?
Register as a manufacturer with your company details and first products. Our team reviews new registrations before they go live.
How do I offer logistics services?
Register as a logistics provider. Once approved, your company appears in the logistics directory.
About the AfCFTA
What is the AfCFTA?
The African Continental Free Trade Area is an agreement between African Union member states to create a single market for goods and services, making it easier and cheaper to trade across African borders.
How does it affect tariffs?
Member states commit to removing tariffs on most goods traded between them, phased in over several years. Exact rates depend on the product (HS code) and the countries involved — check with your national customs authority for current rates.
Who can benefit?
Manufacturers, exporters, importers, retailers and logistics providers of any size that trade between participating African countries.
